Sia Nova — «Antisocial»

A civilization set out to perfect itself and optimized its own humanity away — people upgrade instead of aging, children are constructed instead of born. «ANTISOCIAL» is a 5:54 music film about a future that reads less like fiction than a forecast.

In short

«ANTISOCIAL» is the official music video for the electronic artist Sia Nova — a 5:54 post-human dystopia written, directed and edited by Oleg Pylypenko, founder of Flavatars. It was produced in one month, in July 2025, with three AI systems in a single director-led pipeline: Midjourney for frames, Kling AI for motion, Higgsfield AI for camera moves. The film has passed 90,000 views on Sia Nova’s official YouTube channel.

Director’s statement

Most AI projects demonstrate what the technology can do. I wanted to demonstrate what a director can do with it.

When I first heard the track, I didn’t see one lonely person — I saw a civilization, a world where connection is administered by algorithms. Sia Nova heard the finished cut and was, in her own word, stunned.

Sia Nova faces the endless towers, our guide into the dystopia.

The story

Four acts, one machine civilization

01 Birth

A cybernetic embryo in black synthetic fluid. A body forms, a shell assembles, a system wakes.

02 The machine world

Out of the capsule into the megacity: searchlights, automated districts, crowds that no longer talk. Control looks clean from above.

03 Signal & pursuit

The music wakes something the system cannot classify. She moves, the world reacts — alarm, a run through scanning tunnels, a fall into somewhere new.

04 Collapse & transformation

A cyber-desert at the edge of the grid. A wave of light breaks the machinery of control, then silence — the ending stays open on purpose.

She never explains this world. She walks through it — and the viewer discovers it with her.

A hooded figure crowns a black monolith above the surveillance city.

[ 02 · THE MACHINE WORLD ]

A city that never sleeps, because it never stops watching.

World-building

The world is the protagonist

The film deliberately leaves its artist off-screen for whole scenes: megacities, laboratories, techno-cathedrals, embryo lines and crowds carry the story on their own. Development frames from the production — tap any one.

The tool is part of the statement

Character design

Recognizable in every frame

What was kept

Two long black braids as the signature. A fully open face — no mask, nothing hiding who she is. A matte black functional exosuit with chrome structure and one over-ear interface: presence through silhouette and control, not exposure.

What was thrown away

Dozens of looks died on the way — too glamorous, too cosplay, too much fashion-latex without a logic. Even the audio interface exists because generators kept adding a second pair of headphones at her neck; the fix was not another render but a more precise sentence.

Braided and armored in mirror steel, Sia Nova against a bruised sky.

This is where the body ends and the machine begins.

Visual language

Rules the world obeys

A palette with no waste

Black, white, chrome and cold neon — when a new color enters the frame, something in the world has shifted.

White as a threat

The laboratories are sterile, not dirty, because real control looks clean, lit and perfectly organized.

The black tar

Not a metaphor but a material — oil and industrial resin, the physical residue of a civilization built on endless consumption.

Rain as the last nature

Almost nothing natural is left, so the rain — the final untouched element — never stops falling.

Symmetry, then a crack

Frames open symmetrical because symmetry reads as control, then something goes wrong and the viewer feels it before they can name it.

The city is the protagonist

It breathes, watches and consumes; Sia Nova is not its subject but the eyes we borrow to walk through it.

How it was made

Three models, one director

No single model could carry this film, so the production became a system: Midjourney thinks in frames. Kling thinks in motion. Higgsfield thinks in physics. The director thinks in story.

  • 01

    The track

Before any image: the music’s structure, its industrial pulse, its title. «Antisocial» read not as a mood but as a diagnosis — a world where connection runs on algorithms.

  • 02

    The world

A logline, a civilization, a library of locations, a set of recurring symbols — tar, rain, searchlights, capsules. The world was written before it was generated.

  • 03

    The character

Dozens of looks were discarded — too glamorous, too cosplay, too exposed. The final Sia Nova — two black braids, an open face, a matte black exosuit, one over-ear interface — locked into a constant character prompt.

  • 04

    Midjourney — the frames

Storyboards, key compositions, establishing shots, techno-horror b-roll. Every shot fixed its framing, lens feel, light and connection to the previous scene — because a generator remembers nothing.

  • 05

    Kling — the motion

Approved frames animated shot by shot: the body’s plasticity, the braids and cables in motion, the behavior of tar, rain and fog, the camera’s trajectory and tempo.

  • 06

    Higgsfield — the physics

Complex camera moves, dynamic transformations and the showpiece transitions — the shots where the camera itself becomes a performer.

  • 07

    The edit

Cut personally, to the track: every new shot different in size, angle, movement or staging. Thousands of separate generations, one film.

An empty throne before a wall of static screens: total surveillance.

[ 04 · SURVEILLANCE ]

Every face, every street, every second — all of it recorded.

The real work was making thousands of separate generations read as one film.

That is the difference between prompting and directing: story, dramaturgy, composition, shot sizes, rhythm, continuity — decided before any model runs, enforced after every frame it returns.

FAQ

Quick answers

Who directed Sia Nova’s «ANTISOCIAL» music video?

Oleg Pylypenko, founder of Flavatars, wrote, directed and edited «ANTISOCIAL» — the concept, the world, the character design and the final cut. Sia Nova gave the project full creative freedom.

What is «ANTISOCIAL» about?

A post-human dystopia: a civilization that optimized itself with technology until it stopped being human. People upgrade instead of aging, children are constructed instead of born — and Sia Nova walks through the final stage of it as the last genuinely human presence, the viewer’s guide through the machine world.

What tools were used to create «ANTISOCIAL»?

Three AI systems under one director: Midjourney for concept art, storyboards and the design of the character and world; Kling AI for animating the approved frames into motion; Higgsfield AI for complex camera moves and effects. No single model could carry the film — the pipeline is the instrument.

How long did «ANTISOCIAL» take to make?

One month, in July 2025 — from track analysis to the final 5:54 master. Thousands of generations were produced and discarded so that the frames that remained would read as one film.

Why was «ANTISOCIAL» made with AI?

Not for speed and not for budget. The film tells a story about a world where machines reshape human nature — telling it with the tools of the past would have missed the point. The technology is part of the statement: a machine-made film about a machine-made world, with a human director deciding every frame.
